A good run here will set Marion up for the Clay Court season, although clay is not Marion's fav surface. Making the QF's would be a real booster.

Caro beat Tsvetana 6-4 7-5, but twisted her ankle So depending on how bad it is, Marion might get a W/O

I cant believe that. There was hope, even expectation among most, that the loss to Caro in Doha was just a blip brought on by illness.

Very.
I am bound by loyalty not to indulge speculation.
With a w/l ratio since Wimbledon of 21/20, I worry for her.
If there is a strategy and a vision, one can accept a rough ride for a while. But if there is no strategy then one can become dissilusioned and disheartened.
Certainly I will always cheer for Marion come win come loss.
Keep your spirits up Marion. You are a strong girl.

"Seven of the 16 seeds in action were sent packing, most notably No.9-seeded Marion Bartoli, who fell to Caroline Wozniacki quietly, 63 61. Others going home were No.15 seed Agnes Szavay, No.17 Agnieszka Radwanska, No.21 seed Alona Bondarenko, No.23 Virginie Razzano, No.26 seed Maria Kirilenko and No.30 seed Michaella Krajicek. Radwanska was sent home by 15-year-old phenom Michelle Larcher de Brito in a dramatic three set contest, 26 63 75; for the Portuguese rising star, it was her first career Top 20 win." Agnes Szavay is not doing too well either, and I am not gloating about that. Far from it. After last seasons good runs from Marion and Makiri we looked forward to more of the same. Sadly, not yet. But the season is still young! btw Makiri's Win/loss so far is 6-7 in singles. 0-4 in doubles
