You were awake.. I didnt know. Seen a bit on a very choppy livestream.. Marion looked wasted i that hea. I just think that this year Partly she doesnt want to make any excuses cos she got so criticised for injury time outs and excuses last year.
The heat isnt the whole story today, but it is some out.. and Djokovic retiring through heat exhaustion... I rest my case.
well i better go and update the website. I been up sice 4am yesterday. I'm just worried about how Marion is feeling. She sounded terse in her post match interview transcript... just, very clear and direct

The heat is the problem, and has been increasingly so for the last couple of years. The AO organisers will really have to come up with better scheduling or the will lose the Slam Status

I agree because it's otherwise a well organised tournament, good facitlities, and decent crowds. But the heat negates all these positives.
